Athena feed chart in metric: week-by-week Blended and Pro Line doses

Most versions of the Athena feed chart online are in millilitres per US gallon, and many are outdated or published as images you can’t copy. This guide gives you the official doses for both Athena lines, the liquid Blended Line and the powdered Pro Line, in metric units. You’ll find them week by week, in ml and grams per 10 litres, with target EC and pH. Every product mentioned is available in our Athena nutrients shop.

The Athena feed chart in 30 seconds

  • Blended, veg: 29 ml Grow A and 29 ml Grow B per 10 L (EC 2.1).
  • Blended, flower: Bloom A and B at 32 ml/10 L for the first four weeks, then tapering to 11 ml. PK starts in week 3, and EC peaks at 2.6 in week 4.
  • Pro Line: 11.4 g Pro Core plus 19 g Pro Grow or Pro Bloom per 10 L (EC 3.0). EC drops to 1.5 in week 9.
  • pH: 5.8–6.2 in coco and rockwool, 6.0–6.4 in peat-based media.
  • Final flush: RO water with Cleanse at 26 ml/10 L, down to EC < 0.1.

What makes Athena and its feed chart different

Athena was born in commercial grow rooms in Los Angeles, and it presents itself as a program rather than a nutrient range. The bases, additives and chart are designed to work together. Every formula is mineral-only, free of organic matter and fully soluble. That’s why Athena won’t clog drippers, venturis or dosing pumps, and why it works just as well for hand watering as for automated fertigation.

What surprises growers coming from other brands is the EC. Athena runs higher conductivity than most programs (2.1 in veg with Blended, 3.0 with Pro) and assumes an inert medium and controlled irrigation. That\’s why following the chart to the letter in other conditions is the most common mistake; below we explain how to adapt it.

Athena Blended or Pro Line: which one to choose

Both lines feed equally well. The difference is format, irrigation system and the size of your grow.

Athena Blended Athena Pro Line
Format Two-part liquids (A+B) Soluble powder: Pro Core + Pro Grow or Pro Bloom
Dosing Millilitres per 10 L Grams per 10 L, always on a scale
Best system Recirculating, hand watering or drip; fits everything Drain-to-waste drip and stock-tank dosing
Target EC 2.1 in veg; 2.3–2.6 at peak flower 3.0 throughout veg and flower
Cost per litre of solution Easier for small and medium grows Cheaper at scale
Best for Home and craft growers who want simplicity Larger grows with a doser or high weekly volumes

Our shop advice: if you hand-mix less than 100 litres a week, start with Blended. If you already run a doser such as a Dosatron, or mix reservoirs of several hundred litres, Pro pays off.

Reading the Blended chart, product by product

Athena Grow A+B is the veg base (Grow A 4-0-1, Grow B 1-3-5). The two parts are always used in equal amounts, and the chart holds them at 29 ml/10 L for four weeks. If you veg longer, repeat week 4: that’s what Athena’s own technical support recommends.

Once you flip to flower, Athena Bloom A+B replaces Grow; the two bases are never combined. Bloom A is 4-0-5 and Bloom B is 0.7-6-5. One detail few guides mention: Athena also uses Bloom to root clones, at 13 ml for the pre-soak and 26 ml for the first feed.

From flower week 3, Athena PK (0-4-5) comes in and peaks at 32 ml in week 7, while the base is already tapering. What\’s more, it\’s a deliberately gentle PK, because over-concentrated boosters lock out calcium and magnesium.

Athena CaMg (2-0-0) is essential with RO water and in inert media. Coco holds on to calcium and magnesium, and without extra supply deficiencies show up mid-run. On the other hand, with hard tap water you may need little or none, so measure before you dose.

Meanwhile, Athena Cleanse adds no nutrients. It keeps the medium and irrigation lines clean and prevents salt build-up, which is why it appears in every feed and rises to 26 ml for the final flush. Athena Balance (0-0-2, potassium silicate) works as pH up and adds silicon for stronger plant structure.

Athena Pro Line feed chart (g per 10 L)

Pro Line uses two bags per stage: Pro Core for the whole run, plus Pro Grow in veg or Pro Bloom in flower. The ratio is always 0.6 g of Core for every gram of Grow or Bloom. Always weigh on a scale: measuring powder by volume throws the EC off.

The Pro Line products

Athena Pro Core (14-0-0) is the backbone of the program. It supplies the nitrogen, calcium and micronutrients, and goes in every week.

In veg it pairs with Athena Pro Grow (2-8-20), and in flower with Athena Pro Bloom (0-12-24). They are never mixed dry or in the same concentrate: each bag gets its own stock tank, or goes into the reservoir separately.

For pH, Pro has its own corrector: Athena Pro Balance is designed for advanced fertigation systems such as NetaFlex, exactly where the liquid Blended Balance isn’t recommended.

How to mix your nutrient solution, step by step

  1. Fill the reservoir. RO or very soft water is best, because Athena’s charts assume a low starting EC.
  2. Measure the water’s EC before adding anything. That’s your baseline.
  3. Add each product separately and stir between additions. Never let parts A and B meet undiluted, and never mix Pro powders dry.
  4. Check the final EC against the chart for that week. Too high, add water; too low, add a little more base.
  5. Adjust pH last, once everything is mixed. To raise it, use Balance with Blended or Pro Balance on dosing systems.

Adjusting the Athena chart to your grow

Hard tap water

Tap water across much of southern Europe carries a high EC. If your water already reads 0.5, for example, don’t add the full chart dose on top: bring the base up to the total target EC and cut back or drop the CaMg. With very hard water, an RO unit puts you back in control.

Longer or shorter veg and flower

The chart covers 4 weeks of veg and 9 of flower. To veg longer, repeat week 4. If your strain finishes in 8 weeks, move straight to the taper doses (weeks 7 to 9) for the final stretch. If it runs 10 or 11 weeks, hold week 6 doses until three weeks before harvest.

Clones and media preparation

To soak clone plugs, use Bloom at 13 ml/10 L (EC 1.0, pH 5.6). To pre-charge the medium before transplanting, Athena gives higher values: coco at pH 5.5–5.8 and EC 3.5–4.0, and rockwool at pH 5.0–5.5 and EC 2.5–3.0.

Autoflowers

Autos handle high EC less well. A rule of thumb many growers use is to start at around 70% of the chart dose and switch to the flower program as soon as the first pistils appear.

Fade: ripening without a hard cut

Athena Fade is the brand’s ripening product. It’s used in the last 7 to 10 days before harvest and contains no nitrogen. It lets you step nutrition down gradually instead of cutting straight to plain water, which is less stressful for the plant. If you use it, follow the official chart variant that includes Fade.

How much Athena you’ll need

This table sums up consumption for a full run (4 weeks veg, 9 weeks flower) for every 100 litres of solution you mix per week. At 50 L a week, halve it; at 300 L, multiply by three.

Product Full-run use per 100 L/week
Grow A and Grow B 1.16 L of each
Bloom A and Bloom B 2.13 L of each
PK 1.61 L
Pro Core 1.41 kg
Pro Grow 0.76 kg
Pro Bloom 1.59 kg
Calculated from the official doses. Excludes clones, CaMg and Cleanse, which depend on your water.

Use this table to pick the right bottle or bag size and avoid running out mid-flower.

Common mistakes with the Athena feed chart

  • Using an old chart. PDFs of earlier versions, with lower veg doses and 8 weeks of flower, are still circulating. Check that yours is current.
  • Trusting miscopied NPK values. Some guides get the Grow and Bloom figures wrong. The official values are Grow A 4-0-1, Grow B 1-3-5, Bloom A 4-0-5 and Bloom B 0.7-6-5.
  • Measuring powders by volume. With Pro Line, always weigh.
  • Adding the full dose to hard water. You end up far above the target EC.
  • Setting pH before the mix is finished. Every product shifts it, so pH always comes last.

Athena feed chart FAQ

How many weeks does the Athena feed chart cover?

The official chart covers clones, 4 weeks of veg, 9 weeks of flower and the final flush. To veg longer, repeat week 4; for faster or slower strains, adapt the end of the run as explained above.

What EC should I run with Athena?

With Blended, 2.1 in veg and 2.3–2.6 at peak flower, tapering to 1.5. With Pro Line, 3.0 for the whole run and 1.5 in the final week.

Can I use Athena in soil?

The chart gives pH values for peat-based media (6.0–6.4), so yes. Athena performs best in coco, rockwool and inert media with controlled irrigation. In heavily amended soil, start with low doses.

Do I use Grow and Bloom at the same time?

No. Grow A+B is for veg and Bloom A+B replaces it in flower. What you must always do is use equal amounts of part A and part B.

Do I need CaMg with tap water?

It depends on your water. With RO and coco it’s close to essential; with hard water it’s often unnecessary. Measure your starting EC and watch the leaves.

Blended or Pro for beginners?

For a home grow, Blended: it’s liquid, doses with a syringe and is more forgiving. Pro makes sense with a doser or large weekly volumes.
