What’s in the Athena Blended range
Athena Blended is the liquid line of the Athena program: two two-part bases and five supplements, all mineral and 100% soluble. Grow A+B is used in veg and Bloom A+B replaces it in flower. The two bases are never combined, and parts A and B always go in at equal amounts and never meet undiluted.
- Athena Grow A+B (4-0-1 / 1-3-5): veg base.
- Athena Bloom A+B (4-0-5 / 0.7-6-5): flower base. At a low dose, it’s also used to root clones.
- Athena CaMg (2-0-0): calcium and magnesium, essential with RO water and in coco.
- Athena PK (0-4-5): gentle bloom booster from flower week 3.
- Athena Balance (0-0-2): raises pH and adds silicon.
- Athena Cleanse: no nutrients. Keeps media and drippers clean, and is used for the final flush.
- Athena Fade: nitrogen-free, for ripening in the last 7 to 10 days.
What to buy to start with Athena Blended
The minimum pack is Grow A+B and Bloom A+B. With RO water or coco, add CaMg, and PK is the first extra you’ll notice in flower. Cleanse and Balance complete the program if you run drip or a reservoir.
How much you’ll use per run
Following the official chart (4 weeks veg, 9 weeks flower), for every 100 litres of solution you mix per week you’ll use about 1.16 L each of Grow A and Grow B, 2.13 L of each Bloom part and 1.61 L of PK. At 50 litres a week, halve it.
How to dose Athena Blended
In veg, 29 ml of Grow A and 29 ml of Grow B per 10 litres of water (EC 2.1). In flower, Bloom A and B start at 32 ml per 10 litres and taper to 11 ml in the final weeks. EC peaks at 2.6 in week 4. Always adjust pH after mixing: 5.8–6.2 in coco and rockwool, 6.0–6.4 in peat-based media. Avoid air stones in the reservoir, because with these nutrients they push pH up.
Athena Blended or Athena Pro?
Blended is the choice for home and medium-sized grows, hand watering or recirculating systems: you dose it with a syringe and don’t need a scale. If you mix several hundred litres a week or run a doser, the Athena Pro range works out cheaper per litre of solution.
