Grotek Final Flush: a clean finish that lets your strain’s flavour through
Week after week, nutrients leave salts behind in the growing medium. Some dissolve in water, others precipitate and stay put. By harvest, these residues can mask a strain’s natural aromas. Final Flush from Grotek is a citric and ascorbic acid flushing solution that helps water carry those salts out of the pot.
When to use Final Flush
- Before harvest: 7–10 days before cutting, to remove remaining nutrient salts.
- After overfeeding: to flush an overloaded medium at any stage of the grow.
- To reuse inert media such as coco or clay pebbles.
- To clean a hydroponic system or drippers between grows.

Dosage and directions
- Dose: 2 ml per litre of water (10 ml per 5 litres). Shake well before use.
- Before harvest: water with the mix 7–10 days before cutting, letting it drain through the bottom of the pot.
- Salt build-up: water generously until it runs out of the bottom, repeat if needed, then wait a week before resuming feeding.
- Hydroponics: add the mix to the reservoir water and run the system for about an hour.
Unflavoured or flavoured?
Regular is unflavoured and suits any strain. The blueberry, strawberry and piña colada versions are designed to complement strains with fruity or exotic profiles. If in doubt, choose Regular.

FAQ
Why not just flush with plain water?
Plain water mainly removes dissolved salts. The acids in Final Flush also help dissolve salts that have precipitated in the medium, for a more thorough flush.
My leaves are yellowing during the flush. Is that normal?
Yes, it’s common at the end of a grow: the plant draws on its own reserves once it stops receiving nutrients.
Does the flavoured version flavour my harvest?
No. Final Flush is meant to let the strain’s natural aromas come through. The flavoured versions are simply designed to complement strains with similar profiles.
