Wild Ruderalis seeds can drop from a female plant and lie dormant on the ground, surviving freezing temperatures for several seasons, before germinating normally. Native plants go through their life cycle at a remarkable speed. In just 10 to 12 weeks, they can grow from seedling to an adult seed-bearing plant.

Even more interestingly, Cannabis Ruderalis is an auto-flowering strain, meaning the plants flower based on their age rather than the change in light cycle.
