Cookielato by Silent Seeds is an exotic Indica-dominant seed, created by crossing two great American varieties, such as Gelato #41 x Do-Si-Dos.

Cultivation of Cookielato by Silent Seeds

The structure of the plant that emerges from the Cookielato seed is a hybrid, of large size especially if grown outdoors, with large leaves and wide and long leaflets, inherited from it’s famous predecessors Gelato #41 and Do-Si-Dos.

It is advisable to support this magnificent plant with stakes, especially during it’s flowering stage, so that it can grow strongly and without complications.

An important element is the substrate that you are going to use in your crop, which must be suitable to encourage the plant to grow. At the beginning it needs a substrate with a perfect mix for good development, such as the Light Mix bag.

Another factor you will notice with this strain is that if temperatures drop, the colour of the flowers will change. They will tend to a more bluish colour, exalting their unique and peculiar beauty.

Pruning is another important technique in this crop, as methods such as FIM, SCROG, SOG, etc., to squeeze the most out of the crop and get a generous yield, with compact and large flowers. And if you are a resin lover, Cookielato will give you flowers with a layer of resinous trichome, so bright, that you will want to make resin extraction to delight you in your moments of relaxation.

Indoor growing

If you decide to grow Cookielato in an indoor grow tent kit, you should know that its flowering time will be 55 to 65 days, and you will harvest between 500 – 550 gr/m2.

We recommend that you use 11-litre pots with their corresponding saucer, so that the roots have enough space to develop, and use a rooting fertiliser such as Root-Juice.
