California Indica from Sensi Seeds are regular cannabis seeds. This cannabis plant comes from an extraordinary strain from California, crossed with an excellent Afghan hash crop, adding weight, speed and a deep reminiscence of hashish to the mother with a delicious citrus aroma. “Orange Bud” is sometimes used as a general term for any Indica with dense orange hair, whether or not it has a citrus-flavored aroma or not. Generic weed should never be confused with genuine California Orange Bud. Legitimate strains have been grown outdoors for many years, in the almost perfect cannabis climate of the American West Coast. Different lines have been propagated by seed for generations over a huge territory, and California Indica comes in a wide range of fabulous phenotypes, from Sativa-dominant to almost pure Indica, depending on the selections made by each grower. In almost every version of California indica we find profuse orange hairs, and the true distinguishing feature of this line is the irresistible sweet and strong citrus aroma.

California Indica by Sensi Seeds has been bred from a massive, high-yielding Orange Bud mother whose mix of traits lean towards Sativa. The long flowering and open bud preference of Californian has been controlled by crossing with the super Afghan male used in the Hash Plant seed variety, our 50/50 HP/NL#1 cross.

The resulting hybrid is solid, compact and fast, bringing our California back to the Indica side of the family, but at the same time keeping all of the original sun-soaked high to lift and illuminate the deep body stone of the Afghan.

Naturally the characteristic bouncy fruit aroma has been retained in California Indica, and individual plants are enhanced with the resinous taste of Hash Plant to produce a bitter orange bouquet, which lingers on the palate like a fine liqueur or dark chocolate.

The shimmering snowy layer of trichomes that covers the buds and leaves is inherited from both parents and is thick enough to make satisfying amounts of California Indica hash either by hand rubbing or sifting.
